Verkefnið felst í greiningu á kennaramenntun í þremur samstarfslöndum með tilliti til réttinda barna og lýðræðislegrar borgaravitundar. Unnið verður reglulega með nemendum og fræðafólki í námslotum yfir verkefnatímabilið, með það að markmiði að efla skilning á gildi og mikilvægi réttindamiðaðrar nálgunar í námi ungra barna. Jafnframt verður þróað kennsluefni sem ætlað er að styðja við hæfni verðandi leikskólakennara, grunnskólakennara á yngsta stigi og háskólakennara til að innleiða og efla réttindamiðaða nálgun í starfi.
